Abstract
⺠Inclusion of carbon monoxide in packaging is controversial across countries. ⺠US consumers prefer shelf life extension and prefer colour stabilization. ⺠US consumers favour information on MAP technology but not on colour stabilization. ⺠German consumers' prefer stable meat colour, only some prefer extended shelf life. ⺠Only some German consumers prefer being informed about CO-MAP.
