Abstract
⺠Consumers, traders and farmers of vegetables from peri-urban farming were studied. ⺠This study quantified subjective risk judgments with regard to food safety hazards. ⺠A conceptual model was developed to elicit subjective risk perceptions. ⺠Respondent categories differed in terms of perceived risks. ⺠Determinants of the levels of perceived risks were examined.
