Abstract
⺠We explore the impacts of time delays on perishable product quality and price. ⺠Longer time delays decrease quality and price of highly perishable products. ⺠Improved customs delays increase trade flows for highly perishable products. ⺠Improved customs delays improve social welfare of importing countries.
