Abstract
⺠Parental migration is positively correlated with underweight status among children aged 7-12. ⺠Members in migrant households spend less time preparing meals. ⺠Children aged 7-12 in migrant households are more likely to do household chores, work more hours in chores and actually do the cooking. ⺠The nutritional status of younger children (aged 2-6 years) is largely not affected by migration of their household member, especially when they live with a grandparent.
