Abstract
⺠Androstenone disliking was lower in United Kingdom than in Spain and France. ⺠There are divergences in acceptability of boar meat among countries. ⺠Boar meat with low androstenone levels was accepted similar that of gilt meat. ⺠Between 14 and 41% of consumers may reject tainted meat due to androstenone sensitivity.
