Abstract
⺠Resveratrol (RES) decreases state 3 oxygen consumption on brain mitochondria. ⺠Gender appears to play a minor role on RES effect on mitochondrial bioenergetics. ⺠RES has protective effects against lipid peroxidation. ⺠Generation of H2O2 by RES may stimulate several signaling pathways.
