Abstract
⺠We assessed DNA protection of casearin B. ⺠We assessed antioxidant activity of casearin B against ROS produced by H2O2. ⺠We used comet assay, Ames test and antioxidant DCFDA assay. ⺠Casearin B protected DNA against damage in HepG2 and in S. typhimurium. ⺠Casearin B was antioxidant against ROS produced by H2O2 in HepG2 cells.
