Abstract
⺠The acetaminophen hepatotoxicity model is most popular for natural product testing. ⺠Pitfalls of the model make the interpretation of natural product studies difficult. ⺠Fundamental aspects of the model need to be considered for sound data interpretation. ⺠Goal is to enable researcher to select the appropriate experimental design and model. ⺠This yields clinically relevant and mechanistically valid data for natural products.
