Abstract
► The anti-apoptotic effect of hydroxytyrosol and laur-hydroxytyrosol is described. ► HyT and laur-HyT are molecules contained in olive oil. ► They are not intrinsically toxic for hemopoietic and skeletal muscle cells. ► Their protection activity has been demonstrated by ultrastructural analysis.
