Abstract
⺠The anti-apoptotic effect of hydroxytyrosol and laur-hydroxytyrosol is described. ⺠HyT and laur-HyT are molecules contained in olive oil. ⺠They are not intrinsically toxic for hemopoietic and skeletal muscle cells. ⺠Their protection activity has been demonstrated by ultrastructural analysis.
