Abstract
⺠A stabilized aloe vera gel drink was tested for genotoxicity in vitro. ⺠The stabilized aloe gel was evaluated for acute and subchronic toxicity in mice. ⺠No evidence of toxic effects was observed after oral acute administration. ⺠No toxic effects were noted through necropsy, hematology or clinical chemistry. ⺠Aloe gel consumption did not affect weight during a 13-week feed study.
