Abstract
⺠Pheophorbide a and pheophytin a were found as potent anti-inflammatory constituents. ⺠Pheophorbide a and pheophytin a exhibited inhibition of NO production. ⺠The NO inhibitory activity exerted via the inhibition of iNOS protein expression. ⺠Fucoxanthin did not exhibit NO production inhibitory activity at nontoxic concentration.
