Abstract
⺠Physicochemical properties of silver nanoparticles direct their toxicity. ⺠Toxicity of NPs was found to vary according to their surface potential. ⺠A431 cells were most sensitive to toxic effects of AgNPs. ⺠RAW macrophages were least sensitive to AgNPs.
