Abstract
⺠We examined the effect of CSEE on HFD-induced NAFLD. ⺠CSEE inhibited hepatic lipids accumulation in HFD-fed rats. ⺠AMPK inhibition impeded CSEE-induced prevention of increased intracellular TG accumulation in HepG2 cells induced by insulin. ⺠CSEE may have potential use as a therapy for the treatment of obesity-related fatty liver.
