Abstract
⺠Prenatal exposure to valproic acid (VPA) induces autistic symptoms and crooked tail in rodents. ⺠We examined administration of Korea red ginseng (KRG) may rescue the social impairment and crooked tail phenotype. ⺠KRG may inhibit reproductive toxicity and teratogenicity such as NTD in rodents. ⺠KRG inhibited hyperactivity induced by VPA in rat offsprings. ⺠KRG treatment improve deficits in social interaction in VPA-exposed group.
