Abstract
⺠Cinnamon polyphenols (CPS) is a potential agent for the treatment of diabetes. ⺠CPS exerts the hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic effects. ⺠CPS can down-regulate iNOS and NF-κB expressions in pancreatic tissue. ⺠CPS effectively mediates restoration of pancreatic cell injure. ⺠CPS therapy attenuates cytotoxic effects in pancreatic cells.
