Abstract
⺠Acrylamide caused mitochondria collapse and apoptosis. ⺠Cell apoptosis was activated under the exposure to 2 mM acrylamide but not less than 1 mM. ⺠The ultrastructure alterations of mitochondria showed chromatin condensation, pyknosis, and swelling after acrylamide treatment.
