Abstract
⺠Subchronic toxicity of Apoaequorin, a protein preparation was investigated in rats. ⺠Apoaequorin administration to rats at doses up to 667 mg/kg/day for 90 days did not reveal any adverse effects. ⺠The No Observed-Adverse-Effect Level (NOAEL) for Apoaequorin was determined as 667 mg/kg bw/day, the highest dose tested.
