Abstract
⺠Natural products are challenging to characterize for a safety evaluation. ⺠Natural variability of key components must be understood for safety and quality. ⺠Pharmacognosy aids in identifying compound classes that may be present in a plant. ⺠We have developed an innovative approach for safety evaluation of natural products.
