Abstract
⺠We investigate the toxicity of AFG1 in rat lung AT-II. ⺠AFG1 impairs lamellar bodies of AT-II and decreases SP-C expression in lung tissues. ⺠AFG1 decreased SP-C expression in AT-II in vitro. ⺠AFG1 induced a considerable rise of [Ca2+]i might contribute the decreased SP-C. ⺠AFG1 impairs structure and function of AT-II involved in the pulmonary toxicity.
