Abstract
⺠Quercetin exerts antiproliferative and pro-apoptotic action against human gastric carcinoma cells. ⺠In sensitive cells cytostatic drug and flavonoid have synergistic effects. ⺠Quercetin supplementation may sensitive resistant cells to cytostatic drug response. ⺠Quercetin modulates P-glycoprotein expression and its transport function. ⺠Downregulation of ABCB1 gene is the mechanism of quercetin action on resistant human gastric carcinoma cells.
