Abstract
⺠Essential oil (EO) of Alpinia zerumbet did not induce genetic toxicity in human leukocytes. ⺠EO did not exert any mutagenic effects on peripheral blood cells and bone marrow in mice. ⺠EO showed scavenging effects against DPPH radicals. ⺠EO have protective effects against clastogenesis induced by H2O2.
