Abstract
⺠Treatment of rats with a low dose of cadmium chloride caused damage to rat heart. ⺠This cadmium-induced damage to rat heart was due to oxidative stress. ⺠Aqueous Curry leaf extract ameliorated these changes by antioxidant mechanism. ⺠Curry leaf may be considered beneficial to humans exposed to cadmium.
