Abstract
⺠HepG2/C3A cells were used to assess the cellular effects of three oil dispersants. ⺠The Corexit dispersants were significantly more cytotoxic than ZI-400. ⺠The dispersants increased levels of ROS and altered several cellular processes. ⺠DOSS made notable contributions to the cellular effects of the Corexit dispersants. ⺠This model may be a complementary tool for predicting toxicity of complex mixtures.
