Abstract
⺠Black gram husk (BGH) is a waste by-product in black gram industry. ⺠BGH extract showed potential antioxidant properties. ⺠The husk extract protected DNA and RBC against oxidative damage. ⺠The husk extract inhibited the α-glucosidase enzyme activity. ⺠The phenolic acids present in the husk extract were identified by RP-HPLC.
