Abstract
► Overview of methods for back-transformation in the estimation of usual intake distributions of Box-Cox transformed data. ► Introduction of Gaussian Quadrature as a numerical method for the back-transformation of Box-Cox transformed data. ► Comparison of the presented methods with both a simulation study and two applications of dietary exposure. ► Gaussian Quadrature with two points is at least as good as a second order Taylor approach.
