Abstract
⺠Increased activation of Rho kinase was demonstrated in a rat model of streptozotocin-induced diabetes. ⺠Long-term administration of fasudil, a Rho kinase inhibitor, improved cardiac tissue damage of diabetes. ⺠Long-term administration of fasudil improved signs of diabetic cardiomyopathy.
