Abstract
► Bioactivity-guided isolation of Rhus verniciflua yielded 10 flavonoids. ► The neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory activities of the flavonoids were investigated. ► Flavonoids protected neuronal HT22 cells against glutamate-induced neurotoxicity. ► Flavonoids showed NO production inhibitory effects in microglial BV2 cells.
