⺠The effects of COP on early alcoholic liver injury in rats were investigated. ⺠Elevation of serum aminotransferase was prevented. ⺠The hepatic histological damage was alleviated. ⺠Oxidative stress was improved. ⺠The abnormal lipid metabolism was ameliorated.
