Abstract
► We investigated the endocrine-mediated effects of two benzene relatives. ► Endocrine-mediated effects such as thyroid dysfunction were detected in rats given 1,3-diethyl benzene. ► Endocrine-mediated effects were not observed in rats treated with 1-chloro-4-(chloromethyl)benzene.
