Abstract
ⶠGinseng has been reported to have various biological effects. ⶠWe examine effects of Korean red ginseng, ginsenoside Rg3 and Rh2 on Hep3B cells. ⶠKRG and ginsenosides induce apoptosis by activation of the mitochondrial pathway. ⶠKRG can be used as a potential therapeutic drug for the treatment of liver cancer.
