Abstract
⺠Antioxidant capacity of Arbutus unedo was evaluated using human biological membranes. ⺠Its leaf and fruit extracts present antihemolytic and radical scavenging activities. ⺠Leaf extract exhibited stronger antioxidant activity than the fruit. ⺠A.unedo leaf extract has potential application in oxidative stress-related diseases.
