Abstract
⺠Mulberroside A and its derivatives reduced the pigmentation in UVB-irradiated skin. ⺠They reduced melanogenesis by suppressing the expression of melanogenic enzymes. ⺠Their inhibitory effects increased according to their deglycosylation degree. ⺠They may be suitable as a potent photoprotective agent for skin exposed to UVB.
