Abstract
⺠Food mutagens induce DNA damage after in vitro treatment of lymphocytes. ⺠Flavonoids reduce DNA damage caused by food mutagens in a dose-dependent manner. ⺠Lymphocytes from colon cancer patients have higher baseline DNA damage compared to healthy individuals.
