Abstract
► Caffeic acid is one of the most abundant phenolic acid content of most fruit. ► Caffeic acid inhibits TPA induced oxidative stress, inflammatory responses, TNF-α release in mouse skin. ► Caffeic acid reverses cutaneous histopathological changes. ► Caffeic acid attenuates TPA induced expression of NF-κB and COX-2 expression. ► Use of caffeic acid may be one of the important therapeutic approaches for cancer prevention.
