Abstract
⺠Diets are garnering more attention to modulate the therapeutic index of drugs. ⺠Cisplatin is a major antineoplastic drug for the treatment of solid tumors. ⺠Dose dependent nephrotoxicity remains the major concern for its long term use. ⺠Study aims to explore the protection offered by fish oil (FO) rich in Ï-3-fatty acids. ⺠We propose that FO may maximize the clinical use of CP in the treatment of cancer.
