Abstract
												⺠Natural antioxidants should be used with caution since not all of them have a protective effect. ⺠Resveratrol and cafeic acid may potentiate the adverse effect exerted by copper. ⺠Curcumin restored the level of biomarkers and cellular viability almost to control values.
