Abstract
⺠Two mathematical models according to LA theory and BI theory were applied analyze the combined effect of NP and MBP. ⺠Employing cell viability and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) leakage rate as endpoints. ⺠A significant antagonist effect was observed both in the viability assay and in the LDH assay (LDH leakage rate >20%). ⺠At the lower concentrations which induced LDH leakage rate <20%, the combined effect was synergism.
