Abstract
⺠Fructus Ligustri Lucidi is commonly used for aging-associated symptoms. ⺠Its phenolic-enriched fraction has the best antioxidant activity. ⺠It protects oxidative damage via elevating intracellular antioxidant status. ⺠Hydroxytyrosol and salidroside are its major active components.
