Abstract
⺠Cadmium given per os or i.p. induces oxidative stress in liver of rats. ⺠Cadmium given i.p. induces more pronounced adverse effects. ⺠Magnesium co-treatment has beneficial effect on parameters of oxidative stress. ⺠Oral Mg administration reversed all Cd-affected parameters of oxidative stress. ⺠Both Cd and Cd + Mg effects on parameters of oxidative stress are route-dependent.
