Abstract
⺠LC/MS analysis of ESAC led to identification of eight different ganoderic acids. ⺠ESAC exhibited unique antioxidant properties as well as antimicrobial activity. ⺠Ganoderic acids and phenolic compounds play key roles in the bioactivities of ESAC. ⺠ESAC did not show any cytotoxic effects in RAW264.7 murine macrophage cells. ⺠ESAC has the potential as a novel natural source for food industry.
