Abstract
► LC/MS analysis of ESAC led to identification of eight different ganoderic acids. ► ESAC exhibited unique antioxidant properties as well as antimicrobial activity. ► Ganoderic acids and phenolic compounds play key roles in the bioactivities of ESAC. ► ESAC did not show any cytotoxic effects in RAW264.7 murine macrophage cells. ► ESAC has the potential as a novel natural source for food industry.
