Abstract

âº Mild untreated hyperlipidemia is associated with oxidative stress in healthy men. âº Smoking, independent of hyperlipidemia, alters some oxidative stress biomarkers. âº Mild hyperlipidemia increases the risk of atherosclerosis, particularly in smokers.
