Abstract
► Long-term exposure to NaF induces morphological changes in the liver. ► Studies demonstrated that fluoride influenced the activity of assayed enzymes. ► Vitamin E and methionine positively influenced the morphology of the liver. ► Antioxidants may be effective in reversing the toxic changes resulting from the exposure to NaF. ► The antioxidants normalized the activity of enzymes to the level close to the control group.
