Abstract
► Aurentiacin, a naturally occurring chalcone, has a potent anti-inflammatory effect in vitro and in vivo. ► Aurentiacin reduces the level of pro-inflammatory mediators and cytokines. ► Aurentiacin inhibits NF-κB activation through blocking nuclear translocation of p65. ► Aurentiacin also controls MAPK and HAT, that is concerned with NF-κB signaling.
