Abstract
► Replacing FO oil by VO changes tissue fatty acid composition in Atlantic salmon. ► Dietary lipid source do not affect the accumulation of mercury in Atlantic salmon. ► Dietary MeHg leads to decreased levels of ARA in PI in brain of Atlantic salmon fed VO. ► Decreased level of ARA may be caused by interaction between high n−6 level and MeHg.
