Abstract
► Shade-drying is traditionally used to process Genisteae shrubs flowers. ► Shade-drying decreased the antioxidant activity of the studied samples. ► Shade-drying decreased hydrophilic and lipophilic antioxidant contents. ► Freeze-drying proved to be more efficient in the maintenance of antioxidant potential. ► Pterospartum tridentatum was the most promising species.
