Abstract
⺠EpiOral oral buccal mucosal construct used to model mouthrinse rinsing. ⺠Caffeine permeability unchanged by ethanol and ethanol-containing mouthrinses. ⺠No acetaldehyde or acetic acid detected in culture media. ⺠Caffeine Js, Kp and flux lag time were unchanged. ⺠No cytotoxicity or histopathological effects were observed in tissues.
