Abstract
⺠Hyperhomocysteinemia leads to a decrease of hepatic Nqo1 activity. ⺠Hyperhomocysteinemia leads to an increase of hepatic total Nat activity. ⺠Red wine polyphenol extract could counteract these variations of activity. ⺠Total hepatic Nat activity correlates with nitrotyrosine-modified protein levels.
