Abstract
⺠We model induction of deoxynivalenol-induced anorexia in the mouse. ⺠The toxin's effects on food intake were transient, lasting up to 6 h. ⺠A subsequent dose-dependent orexigenic response afterward. ⺠The bioassay will be used to understand trichothecene-induced anorexia.
