Abstract
► Effects of 90 °C/600 MPa, with nisin and reutericyclin, on endospores were examined. ► Survival and permeability of endospores was assessed. ► Species-specific differences in resistance to antimicrobials were observed. ► Enhanced inactivation is linked to the mode of action of antimicrobials used.
