Abstract
⺠Inoculated Brucella DNA in three dairy products was extracted with commercial kits. ⺠Differences were evident in extraction performance across cheese and milk types. ⺠Qiagen and High Pure kits surpassed others at a level of 104 CFU/g in cheese. ⺠Qiagen and High Pure kits surpassed others in milk products at 105 CFU/mL. ⺠Top performing High Pure and Qiagen kits were also the least expensive per sample.
